The AXDI data interface delivers a complete integration solution designed to preserve essential factory vehicle features that are commonly lost during a radio replacement. When the vehicle is properly equipped it maintains chime retention steering wheel control capability and audio balance and fade for a consistent OEM style experience. Engineered for non amplified systems the AXDI provides reliable 12-volt 10-amp accessory power and supports critical navigation outputs including parking brake reverse and speed sense signals. The interface includes a pre wired AXSWC harness allowing steering wheel control retention when paired with the AXSWC interface which is sold separately. Factory backup camera retention is supported on select Transit vehicles while OEM amplified systems require the AXA2B-FD1 adapter. The AXDI does not retain SYNC functionality. A Micro B USB connection allows simple firmware updates to keep the interface current.
