This chasing expandable wheel ring brings vibrant LED lighting to your vehicle and makes it easy to replace a damaged ring or illuminate a mounted spare tire. The patent pending design allows the wheel ring to expand from 11in to 14in fitting a wide range of vehicles with precision and ease. This kit includes two aluminum expandable wheel ring segments a cuttable LED strip a 10ft extension cable a Y adapter thread lock mounting brackets and durable hardware. The wheel light works with the Heise Connect Chasing Controller HE-CHASE-CB sold separately to enable full remote control through the free Heise Connect mobile app. The app provides over 170 color chasing patterns a DIY pattern option for selecting up to 16 colors and 3 motion effects along with brake and music sync functions for added flair. If a lighting system already uses a Heise Connect controller for four wheel rings a second controller is required to support this fifth spare tire ring ensuring perfect sync and cohesive operation. The split ring design makes it simple to assemble and adjust the fit by aligning pre drilled holes each increasing the diameter by .25in until the ideal size is achieved. The L channel alignment track guides both ring segments together adds strength and prevents bending. Threaded inner holes and non threaded outer holes eliminate the need for bulky nuts while the included thread lock ensures a secure installation.
